Non-negotiable.

Ground Rules

Ten chapters. Read them before you connect — ignorance is not an excuse.
Break one and an admin will say hello. Break it again and the admin will say goodbye.

⛔ = no warning — banned immediately
Rules last updated: 2026-07-04

01 General Conduct

  • Disrespect, harassment, using slurs, or targeted bullying will result in an immediate ban.
  • Cheating, macro use, exploiting, or modifying the game is — strictly prohibited. Using cheats or hacks with evidence or proof will result in an immediate permanent ban.
  • Use English in global chat so admin can moderate effectively.
  • Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse — by joining, you accept them.
  • No NSFW content anywhere — text, images, links, voice.
  • No doxxing or sharing personal information about other members.
  • No advertising other servers, communities, or paid services.
  • Voice channel etiquette: no mic spam, soundboards, ear-rape, or playing music without consent.
  • Do not take drama to social media. Posting on any platform to provoke, insult, disrespect, or belittle another player — or to stir drama about them — is an instant ban. Disputes go to a ticket, never to a feed.
Disputes & Incidents
  • Report any incident via a ticket within 24 hours — reports after that aren't accepted.
  • All disputes go through tickets, and tickets onlynever DM an admin.
How a dispute is handled:
  1. 1Open a ticket — the admin takes the report, reviews the evidence, and assesses intent.
  2. 2Both sides gather all their evidence for a joint review — the full context and whether intent was present.
  3. 3Both sides present to the admin together, one at a time, evidence and facts only. Whoever starts taunting or insulting loses immediately.
  • Keep it private: posting a case — or its evidence — in any public channel (eg. Discord, social, streams) voids the case and is itself a violation. Going public is treated as pressuring the verdict.
  • If the offender wishes to negotiate a penalty reduction, they must agree directly with the victim. Admins will not act as mediators as the decision is already final. Only if the victim withdraws the report can admins reduce the penalty as deemed appropriate.

02 Discord Conduct

  • No DM harassment between members — blocked users who continue contact via alts will be banned.
  • Ask for help via tickets only or inquire in the General channel — Do not DM the admin.

03 Combat

  • KOS (Kill On Sight) is allowed — this is a survival game.
  • Combat logging is banned — intentionally disconnecting to avoid death.
  • Combat log enforcement is contextual: low HP at disconnect, repeated pattern, witnesses, timestamp. If no clear intent, no ban — benefit of the doubt to the player.
  • Crashes and bug-related deaths cannot be reversed — server logs can’t distinguish a crash from a logout. Lost progress is part of Early Access.
  • In-game proximity voice is part of combat — taunting is allowed, but profanity, insults, slurs, and harassment are not. Evaluated based on tone, emotion, and intent of the speaker (Rule 01 still applies).
  • Cease all combat immediately after a server restart announcement and safely log out. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.
  • Surrendering is at the discretion of the fight's winner whether to spare your life or not.
Rule Against Third Partying

Basic Principle: Do not interfere with an ongoing fight of another group, whether through attacks or words. You must wait until the fight "has clearly ended" before you can engage.

Conduct During Combat (A fights B / C is the third party)
  • C must strictly not interfere: Party C must stand by. Do not initiate an attack on A or B, and do not interject verbally.
  • A and B must not change targets: The fighting parties must not turn to attack C passing by. You must finish the fight or fully withdraw from the original opponent first.
  • Negotiation (Prolonged fights): C may offer to end the fight only during an "attack pause", and both A and B must agree (please use polite language and maintain manners).
Conditions for "Fight Ended" (Clearly concluded)

A fight is considered ended, and you can begin engaging a new group, only if one of the following conditions is met:

  1. Full Party Wipe: If everyone in either Party A or B dies, the fight is fully ended. A new fight can be initiated immediately.
  2. Agree to Disengage (via communication): Both parties agree to end the fight and part ways (in this case, breaking line of sight is not required). If Party C hears this agreement, C can immediately attack A or B.
  3. 100% Escape: The fleeing party must hide out of line of sight, and the other party has stopped searching.
    • Exception: If A is secretly ambushing and waiting for B to come out of hiding, once B appears and A sees them, the fight between A and B is still considered continuously active.
Species Exceptions: Deinosuchus (Third Partying / Mixpacking)
Engaging in Combat

Team C (Deinosuchus) can ONLY use right-click (Lunge/Bite) from within the water to attack players positioned on the water's edge.

Strictly prohibited from leaving the water to join a land combat.

Once the target is in the water, the Deinosuchus can attack normally, regardless of whether they are Team A or Team B.

EXAMPLE
  1. A + B — Player A runs to the water's edge (for whatever reason). Deinosuchus uses right-click from the water to drag A in → Not breaking the rule.
  2. A + B — Player A flees into the water, and Team B jumps in after them. Deinosuchus can choose to attack either side → Not breaking the rule.
Deinosuchus Coordination

Allowed: Deinosuchus in the same party (max 2) can coordinate ambushes and hunt prey together.

Restrictions
  1. Deinosuchus that are NOT in the same party are prohibited from coordinating, helping to attack, or helping to pin down prey under any circumstances.

Example: If Deinosuchus A is biting or locking prey in the water, Deinosuchus B from another party must not come to help bite, pin, or take turns attacking for any reason.

  2. Deinosuchus is prohibited from joining another party that is already engaged in an active fight, regardless of which side they are helping.
  3. If two opposing Deinosuchus sides are fighting each other, a third party Deinosuchus must not interfere or participate in the fight for any reason; doing so is still considered Third Partying.
Species Exceptions · Herrerasaurus · (Third Partying)

A Herrerasaurus may third party an ongoing fight, but ONLY via its signature tree pounce mechanic. Walking up to an active fight on the ground and biting in — still considered as Third Partying

04 Packs & Grouping

  • Pack size limits (see table below).
  • Grouping must occur only before combat begins. Do not form or join a pack during a fight (line of sight is not required).
Mixpacking

Grouping with players of a DIFFERENT species to gain combat or hunting advantage. Banned even if your pack is under the limit.

  • ·Using another species as bait, lookout, or callout
  • ·Two species traveling together as a player hunting party
Overpacking

Grouping with MORE players of your OWN species than the posted limit. Banned regardless of intent.

  • ·Two same-species packs combining into one is considered overpacking.
  • ·Cross-pack socializing is allowed for max 10 mins. If combat starts or time ends, uninvolved groups must leave in-game voice range immediately.

Non-egg babies cannot be raised and will count towards standard overpacking limits.

Note: If overpacking happens during an active fight, both Rule 03 (third partying) AND Rule 04 apply. Admins cite the more severe violation — typically overpacking+third partying.

Cross-Species Social Contact

Brief social interaction IS permitted:

  • ·Herbi + Herbi | Carni + Carni | Herbi + Carni
  • ·May NOT hunt together or fight together
  • ·Do not travel in a group for more than 10 minutes.
  • ·Temporary gatherings must end within 10 minutes. If combat starts or time ends, uninvolved groups must leave in-game voice range immediately.
  • ·If attacked during a gathering, each pack must separate and flee in different directions. Only the attacked pack is allowed to stay in the area to fight.
Team Killing

Intentional team killing is prohibited. You must wait 10 minutes after disbanding before attacking former members. In case of disagreements, separate immediately and do not escalate into fights.

Limits apply to ANY coordinated grouping, regardless of whether members use in-game voice, Discord, or external tools.

05 Nests

Raising egg-hatched babies is allowed until 30% growth.

  • Do not attack a nest if only babies are present and no adults are in sight.
  • Defending an active nest is not considered third-partying and is strictly limited to:
  • ·The parents (nest owners)
  • ·Party members of the nest owners
  • ·Party members must be grouped with both the father and mother BEFORE the attack starts

06 Griefing & Exploitative Play

The following are bannable regardless of whether they fit other rules:

  • Repeatedly trolling new players in starter areas.
  • Exploiting map terrain (under-map, stuck spots, geometry abuse).
  • Using any in-game bug for advantage — report bugs via ticket + F2 ONLY.
  • Intentionally using a bug or a server quirk to grief another player — and not reporting it — is bannable. If admins find evidence after the fact, they may ban at their discretion.
Sanctuary · Starting Zone

The Sanctuary is a zone for freshly spawned players. The Sanctuary is not a safe haven. Once your dino is grown enough that the Sanctuary bees will sting it, you are prohibited from camping and repeatedly killing in that area — including the entrances and exits. You may only pass through, and you may only kill if you happen to encounter a careless baby while passing. Only Pteranodon, Herrerasaurus, Troodon, Hypsilophodon, and Beipiaosaurus are exempt from this rule.

EXAMPLE

❌Carrying a player on your back through a bugged spot (bridge/rock/tree) and dropping them to their death, or getting them stuck to bite them to death, is considered an Exploit.

❌Configuring an Alt keybind to attack faster than the game normally allows — on any species.

07 External Coordination & Fair Play

This rule applies only in cases where there is a victim. Information gained outside the game must not be used for in-game advantage.

  • Stream sniping (watching a player’s live stream to track them in-game) is banned.
  • Metagaming (using #clips, #general, Discord, or external voice to locate a specific player) is banned.
  • Discord-coordinated packs exceeding in-game limits are banned — overpacking by another name (Rule 04).
  • Sharing real-time player locations in public channels to non-party members during an active fight is banned.
  • Past events (clips, screenshots, after-action discussion) are fine — live coordination is not.
Stream Sniping · How it's judged

What it is: one player deliberately watching a streamer's live feed to track them down in-game and force a fight with a hard-counter dino they're guaranteed to win with.

Thresholds (intent still weighed by admins):
  • ·Killing the streamer or their party 3× in one stream, or
  • ·Killing the streamer or their party 5× across 3 streams.

Handled per the Disputes & Incidents process in Rule 01.

08 Accounts & Identity

  • Account sharing is discouraged; the owner is responsible for ALL violations by anyone using their account.
  • In-game character names must be readable, non-offensive, and not impersonate admin or other players.
  • No slurs, sexual content, or unicode abuse in character names.

09 Admins

  • Admin decisions are final.
  • Admins will not spawn items or teleport players for personal gain.
  • Admins will not participate in disputes involving their own gameplay — another admin handles it.
  • Former admins returning may NOT review cases they decided during their previous tenure.
  • All bans are logged internally and reviewed by the admin team.
  • Report admin abuse via ticket to the Owner.
  • The admin will accept rule violation cases only if the reporter submits an F2 recording file or a video clip with audio.
  • The admin will engage in discussions requesting screen sharing only in cases of bugs that result in character death.
  • If Ticket information is screen-shared and published on stream or Social Media through any channel - Immediate Permanent Ban - as it is considered disrespectful to the rules and the admin's decisions.

10 Community

  • Server events are announced 24 hours in advance in #events.
  • Suggestions go in #suggestions.
  • Bug reports → open a ticket under “General Support”.
  • Treat everyone with respect and empathy. Toxicity, immature whining, or belittling others to make them feel bad is strictly prohibited. We are building a mature, safe space for everyone to enjoy.
  • Have fun — it's just a game. What happens in the game, stays in the game. Do not let the emotions of in-game survival and loss ruin the community vibe.
Enforcement

Warn Kick Permanent Ban

At admin discretion based on severity. Minor slips get a warning or kick. Once an offense earns a ban, it follows a fixed ladder:

11st ban — 7 days
22nd ban — 15 days
33rd ban — permanent
Straight to permanent — offenses that harm the whole community:
Sexual harassment · Cheating · Doxxing · Slurs · Targeted harassment · Inciting drama · NSFW content
